Arsenal v Liverpool

After the awe inspiring aggregate win over Real Madrid, Arsenal really need to kick on and get a run of wins in the premiership.

Arsenal have dillydallied on their travels in the league this term but our home form is pretty decent.

Liverpool travel to Highbury today on the back of their Champions League defeat. Their exit from the competition could bring one of two things, a resurgent Liverpool who are desperate to bounce back from such a gut wrenching defeat or a down in the dumps Liverpool, who struggle for confidence as much as they do goals.

On that subject, one thing we definately have in our favour today is goals. Liverpool’s lack of them and our ability to score them at home.

Liverpool’s strikers have struggled to come up with the goods this season, I dont think any of them have made double figures (but don’t quote me on that) and with Arsenal’s patched up defence the 4th best in the league, we have a recipe for victory, although the way this season is going, I won’t be suprised what ever happens.

Arsene Says……….

‘We want to finish in the top four and we have a good opportunity to show that.’
