Arsene Wenger’s men take on Dinamo Zagreb tonight safe in the knowledge they’re sitting on a very comfortable three goal lead.

Now everyone who has followed or has anything to do with football will tell you that within the game, anything can happen, but this is one round we will not fail to get through.

Yes Zagreb may come and attack, the may win the game, but there is no way in this world that we will not progress. I can not remember a specific game where we lost by a margin at home that Zagreb would require to progress to the group stages of the Champions League, and no I’m not being cocky, can you honestly see this time winning by a three goal margin on our home turf?? No.

Infact I’m so confident, that if we don’t get through I’ll attend Saturday’s game at the City of Manchester Stadium in a Spurs shirt.

This is the first time Arsene Wenger’s men have had to go through the qualifying rounds of the Champions League and to be honest, when we were drawn aginst Dinamo Zagreb I was a little worried about the away tie (even though my calm exterior suggested otherwise) but the young Gunners performed admirably and even though they weren’t supossed to be match fit, the football was sublime.

So with that in mind I predict a healthy victory, and we will progress to the next round by a clear four goal margin.

Arsene Says……

“Lehmann has a slight knee problem so Manuel Almunia will play, Tomas Rosicky is not in the squad but Freddie Ljungberg is in. In fact, we have exactly the same squad as against Aston Villa plus Song and Aliadiere.”

Arsenal Team News:

Henry returns to Champions League football and Theo Walcott also stays in the squad after his first appearance for the Gunners at the weekend.

Player to watch: Thierry Henry

As his return to fitness continues, expect more of a performance than we got against Villa

Dinamo Zagreb Team News:

Zagreb’s star defender is injured!

Player to watch: One of em I guess

😛

Match Prediction

2-1 to the Gunners

Next Fixture:

Manchester City v Arsenal
