Arsene Wenger has demanded that Arsenal be treated with more respect after stats revealing that Arsenal have a higher yellow card to foul ratio than any other Premiership club.

Wenger`s latest outburst comes after Arsenal`s harsh treatment by the FA following the Carling Cup brawl.

The disturbance in the last couple of minutes of the cup final, started by Chelsea’s Jon Obi Mikel has resulted in 3 Arsenal players serving a 3-match ban, 1 Chelsea player serving a 4 match ban and both clubs have been charged for failing to control their players.

Speaking ahead of Saturday`s Premiership match with Reading Wenger said: ‘It is regrettable that it punished the club.

‘The club deserves more respect than that, it is undeserved.

‘We are guided to win, we love to be fair, but to be treated like we have in this case is not acceptable.

‘We want to focus on our desire to play football. I have got many calls from people abroad who can’t believe what happened.

‘We commit the lowest fouls in the league but we are the most punished

‘We are entitled to get the same treatment as everybody else.’
