Arsenal captain Thierry Henry is choosing to keep his feet on the ground and concentrate on the rest of the season……and let the Gooners do the celebrating.

We all know that to do the ‘double’ over Man Utd is a fantastic achievement. Thierry Henry acknowledges that fact, but says he prefer to be in their position than ours.

And while I wouldn’t want to give that last minute winner up for anything, any sensible Gooner would have to agree.

“I just think it was a good weekend for Liverpool [who beat Chelsea] and for us.’ Said the skipper

“But if you don`t carry on then it won`t mean anything. You need to [go on] and make sure you can remember this game and say it was the turning point. At the moment it is a great win don`t get me wrong but, as I said, I would rather be top of the League than do the double [over Manchester United].’

“It is always something great to beat them. But at the same time it is important to go on a great run now and make sure you can capitalise on the big game we had on Sunday.”

However, I feel the win was a platform on which a great Arsene Wenger team will be built. Team consolidation, spirit & camaraderie will gel this young Arsenal side, and I fully expect to be pushing for the title once again within the next two years.
