Arsene Wenger today relieved Arsenal fans worries by confirming that William Gallas could be back in time to perform heroics when Arsenal take on Porto in match day 6 of the Champions League.

Initial thoughts were that Gallas could be out for upto six weeks, but it is now apparent that the injury is not as bad as first thought.

‘Gallas will not play against Fulham and Tottenham could be a bit premature – but he has a chance to be available for Porto,’ Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

Le Boss then gave news of other Arsenal injuries.

Wenger added: ‘At the moment we have Tomas Rosicky and Gallas both looking extremely good and close to coming back again.

‘I do not think Rosicky is ready [for Bolton] – but he has a chance to be available for Fulham.’

‘Lauren is practising with the group now so that is very good news and Diaby we think he will be available in January,’
