In an interview after his team crushed Austrian side Schwadorf, Arsene Wenger revealed that it would be him who decides if Cole is to stay or be sold.
This whole sorry affair seems to be getting on Wenger’s nerves as it is everyone else connected with Arsenal. Le Boss is aggitated at the fact that attention is been taken away from his hard working squad in Austria by some money grabbing little Chav.
‘If Ashley is going to be sold he will be informed and if he is staying he will be informed about that as well. He is still under contract and no one else will decide what he does.’ said Wenger
Cole left training after one solitary hour (as reported by Vital Arsenal) and Wenger was informed it’s because he was ill. Yes Ashley, we’re sick of this aswell.
‘I know he was only at the training ground for one hour yesterday because he told somebody he was sick,’
‘It is frustrating to still be talking about one player who is not with us in Austria when we have 25 who are preparing for the season.’ added Wenger.
The Sun (what a reliable source that is) is reporting that Cole was forced to attend trainging yesterday or face a Sixty grand fine, but whether or not this is true is debatable.
