Arsenal take on Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow night in what is one of the league`s traditional big fixtures.
This match has given us some great games (the greatest game in our history) both positive and negative, it`s rarely a dull affair when these two meet. It will, however, be the first meeting between the two sides with Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.
Klopp is one of the few managers in top flight football who I actually like. Unlike Mourniho who was the self proclaimed “special one”, Klopp anointed himself “the normal one” but I reckon he`s anything but.
His quirks and idocynrasies make him fun to watch though whilst he was a success at Dortmund it remains to be seen whether he can clear up the mess that Brendan Rodgers left behind.
Arsene Wenger, though, thinks he`s a great manager who has his own style (heavy metal) and believes he will have Liverpool right up for this match.
‘I think he is a great manager but we have different styles, you have to respect that and you can only be successful by [having] your own style and personality, and everybody has a different personality.
‘But I think he done very well in the job and he has an opportunity to integrate a big club. That is where people will assess that later.
‘You have to play with your style and what you believe is strong. He is a great manager and he will do that.
‘We know that Liverpool will be absolutely up for it, we will be up for it.
‘It is down to us to be very strong in the challenges to make sure that doesn’t happen.’
