Patrick Vieira was, and always will be, an Arsenal legend. What he brought to our team can never be reproduced. Or can it?

Ever since Abou Diaby took to the pitch for the first time in the red and white of Arsenal, a lot of people commented on the similarities between Diaby and Vieira.

The more he plays, the more people say it, so much so that the great man himself now agrees with the masses.

‘Diaby reminds me of myself at his age, considering what he has experienced, his club and his physical appearance,’ Paddy told L’Equipe. ‘I came into the France team at a young age, too.’

‘Maybe there would be a good feeling between us. I hope he will improve and work, because he has the right potential.’

I see great things in Diaby’s future, he is already a good player, and with a little more time, he will become great.
