Transfer ‘Updates’ – Mahrez / Mustafi / Lacazette

Another day another pile of transfer rumours.

As we get closer to the season and more and more desperate for players the transfer rumour mill has reached fever pitch with tons of media outlets reporting deals all but done all over the place.

The most exciting rumour, and one that seems highly plausible is the transfer of Leicester`s Riyad Mahrez. This is one transfer I could genuinely see happening and would be huge however reports that Mahrez agreed personal terms a while ago seem highly unlikely considering no fee has been agreed that we know of.

Claudio Ranieri has publically asked Mahrez to stay which suggests there may be little he can do about it if the price is right.

Following the injury to BFG, Wenger has gone on record to say he`s actively trying to sign an experienced defender so the news of Arsenal possibly signing Valencia`s Shkodran Mustafi would be music to many Gooners ears.

And finally after Lyon had publically stated they had rejected Arsenal`s offer for Alexandre Lacazette the Gunners are “expected” (and by that I made someone probably made it up) to increase their offer one last time as we attempt to fill a hole that is desperate need of being filled.
