Alan Pardew has signed Arsenal youngster Alex Song on loan for the rest of the season.

Pardew has become more famous for his anti-Arsenal and anti-foreigners in the last 12 months than he has for his managerial skills.

He claimed that Arsenal’s victory away to Real Madrid was not a victory for English football due to the number of foreign players Arsenal had in their team.

Well to be honest I agree that it was not a victory for English football purely because Arsenal were there to represent Arsenal, not Engerland.

Anywho, young Alex song is now going to continue his footballing education at struggling Charlton.

It is a chance for the powerful midfielder to prove many Arsenal fans wrong after he was booed of the pitch by his own fans.

Arsene Wenger will hope that this loan spell will do for Song what Justin Hoyte’s loan spell at Sunderland last season has done for him.
