Jose Antonio Reyes has decided that he can’t handle it in Madrid or London.

Don’t worry, he’s not coming back to Arsenal.

Reyes moved to Arsenal in 2004, causing quite a stir when he arrived. He cost a record fee (reported to be around £15Miillion), he scored an own goal in his first few weeks that helped put Arsenal out of the Carling Cup, he then went on to score a brace at Highbury to put Chelsea out of the FA Cup.

After a great start to the following season, scoring 11 in as many games, his form took an almightly dip, a dip which he never recovered from.

In the summer of ’06 he denied wanting out, even after being fooled into thinking he was talking to the Real Madrid president when he admitted that he wanted to leave London. He was later seen in a photo posing with a real Madrid shirt. He STILL denied wanting out.

It finally ended on the last day of the transfer window when he packed his bags and moved to Real Madrid on loan. He then admitted that he never liked London because it was too cold (boo hoo).

Since he moved to Madrid he has said several times that he will never play for Arsenal again, claiming that Real Madrid are his dream club. Well guess what, Anelka Mk II has changed his mind again.

He now pines for his former club Sevilla, and is praying he can return in the summer.

Speaking to a Spanish newspaper Reyes’ agent said: ‘Our objective is for a move to Seville.

‘At the moment, it’s not an option – but it’s something we hope to sort out.’
