Late yesterday evening Arsenal confirmed that young striker Stephy Mavididi had been loaned out to Preston North End.
The 19 year old has had a bright start to the 2017/18 campaign so far, scoring three times in two appearances for the Under 23s and having gone out on loan to Charlton Athletic last season, he made five appearances before injury brought an end to his season.
Back in 2015/16 the England youth international was also top scorer for the Under 21 side as it was back then, with 17 goals.
He heads out to Alex Neil’s side in time to potentially make his debut in their Championship opener later today against Sheffield Wednesday.
Hopefully another good loan spell for him and injury will be his friend for this spell.
