Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey have been reflecting on Arsenal’s victory over West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening.

Hosting Tony Pulis’ side at the Emirates Stadium for the game, Arsenal took the two nil victory with two goals coming from Lacazette and speaking to the Official Site he explained that although it was a tough game, he felt Arsenal had more than deserved their victory.

‘We knew it was going to be a hard game but I think we played better than them, we scored two goals and in every moment we had the control. They only had one chance in the first half but I was so lucky to be in the right position at the right moment. After that, we were better than them. It was hard but we played a good game.’

He went on to say.

‘It wasn`t only me. I think all the players are in a good moment, we had a good performance against Chelsea in a difficult game, so after we got one point against Chelsea we needed to get the three points today, to keep in the top positions. We have to continue playing like that. Now we play in the Europa League, after that it`s Brighton, so we are looking forward to winning the next two games.’

With two goals scored, Lacazette was pleased with the clean sheet.

‘Obviously every single game we try to get a clean sheet. It`s not easy because in the Premier League, anybody can score in any moment. But in the last games we`ve had clean sheets, which means that all the team are working really hard defensively. We have to keep doing that.’

As for Ramsey, in his own post game press conference he was pleased with the victory and also had praise for our goalscorer on the day.

‘Yes of course, we`re delighted with that. Results didn`t go our way on the weekend, so we had to take full advantage of being at home and getting the three points, and we did it.’

As for Lacazette, he added.

‘He`s a fantastic player. He has lovely touches on the ball and he knows where the back of the net is – and he proved that tonight. We`re delighted with his goalscoring form at the moment and hopefully he can continue.’

Ramsey also spoke about former England man Gareth Barry with him setting a new Premier League appearance record in the game.

‘That`s a fantastic achievement for him personally and me and my team-mates want to congratulate him on that. It`s not easy to put all those games together in the Premier League, for the position that he plays as well. You can see that he still has quality, so congratulations to him.’
