Arsenal midfielder has given Arsenal fans something to smile about after claiming he is recovering well from his injury and going on to say he will spend his entire career at the North London giants.

Wilshere has been out injured since picking up an ankle problem in the summer, but the Englishman says things are going well.

Jack, a keen Twitterer, wrote, ‘As I said had 6 week X-ray earlier and all going well, I can start to work a bit harder now.’

He then delighted Gooners by claiming he`d be one of us for the rest of his career.
When responding to being asked if he would end his career with Arsenal he said ‘I promise that. I’ve been at the club since I was nine and learned to love it. From the Vieira days, to Bergkamp, Fabregas, I’ve watched them come through and move on. There’s a crop of new players, [Aaron] Ramsey, myself, Kieran Gibbs. Hopefully we can really create something special. I love the club and I want to be part of its future.’

Now I`m not naïve enough to believe anyone could know for sure that they could stay here for their entire career, indeed it`s a rare thing. Anything could change at any time leading Jack to leave us, but that doesn`t make him a liar, at this current time he truly believes he`ll always play for us, and that`s a nice feeling to have.
