Cesc Fabregas has been rated 50:50 for Saturday’s visit to White Hart Lane.
Wenger revealed that the young Spaniard is suffering from a virus and will not be risked should he not come through.
“Cesc has a little sickness,” said Arsène Wenger
“He will have a test tomorrow to see how he feels. As it stands he is 50:50 today. We will not gamble on him. He is not injured but he has caught a virus.’
While it would be better to have Cesc in the side than not, I’m fully confident Abou Diaby or Denilson can boss the centre of the park over at Matchbox Lane.
