Eye Of The Tiger!

Anyone seen Rocky III here? Then you will know where I am coming from.

In the film Apollo Creed says to Rocky after his defeat, whilst the walk around a gym in LA, ‘ see that look in their eye Rock, EYE OF THE TIGER’

he refers to the hunger, the desire to do well, the eye of the tiger..

Now you may wonder where all of this is leading… well it`s leading to tonight of course, our kids seem to have this desire, a hunger to do well under Wenger, a passion not only to play some amazing football but to not give up and keep going.

I think Traore & Denilson are very exciting and will use the stage of playing at home to show exactly what they can do.

I hope they win tonight and go to Cardiff to meet the ultimate challenge of playing against an expensive over paid team of so called superstars.

What amazes me more is the age of this team, so young but so composed and the most frightening thing about them is that they haven’t peaked yet!

To imagine what this team will acheive should they stay together in a few years time is unimaginable, they could go on and break every record going.

What would be also good, is how little the team cost to assemble, you only have to compare the two teams tonight and work out how much each team cost, on that basis the more expensive team should win the game, but we all know that is never the case.

I wish the kids luck tonight, although something tells me they won’t be needing my wishes!
