The votes are in, the Vital Arsenal monkeys have crunched the figures and it`s time to announce our very unsurprising Young Player of the year.

With a somewhat unanimous 81% of the votes, Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin was your young player of the year.

The super-fast Spaniard delighted Gooners this season with his blend of rapid counter attacking football and his no-nonsense, wise beyond his years defending. Hector was also named in the PFA team of the year as he followed up a superb season last year with an even better one this time around, cementing his place as the best right back in the Premier League.

Bellerin made good use of his attacking nous laying on six assists and grabbed himself a goal too. Featuring in 44 games this season he made on average 2 blocks and 2 interceptions per game suggesting his positional sense is improving all the time.
