Arsenal looking bounce back from Saturdays defeat against Bolton.
Ljungberg – ‘We need to show pride’
It’s suggested that Arsenal will play a near full strength team on Wednesday. The reserves travelled to Watford last night taking with them almost the entier team who knocked Reading out of the Carling Cup. Kerrea Gilbert, Fabrice Muamba, Johan Djourou, Anthony Stokes, Nicklas Bendtner and Arturo Lupoli all were expected to feature against Ajax but now it looks unlikey.
Probable Line Up: Almunia, Lauren, Toure, Senderos, Cygan, Ljungberg, Flamini, Song, Pires, van Persie, Reyes.
Looking more and more like the real deal, quicky feet and not afraid to shoot.
Ajax got back to winning ways at the weekend with a 4-1 victory at home to RKC Waalwijk. With Ajax a goal down they hit back with goals from Hedwiges Maduro, Wesley Sneijder, Markus Rosenberg and Ryan Babel to wrap up a smart victory.
Has already scored some tremendous goals in the Champions League this season.
This will be Dennis Bergkamp’s final ever appearance against his old club should he get on the pitch.
Does it matter? They’re all the same 🙂
