The question being asked has often been who will sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, most strongly linked are Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but shouldn’t this be who wouldn’t want to sign him?

According to Chile boss Juan Antonio Pizzi, insisting he’s happy with Alexis’ focus at the Confederations Cup amidst the ongoing transfer speculation, there isn’t a club around who wouldn’t want to sign the former Barcelona forward.

In fairness, Pizzi did say Alexis was already at one of the best clubs around in Arsenal, but also said every club would want him.

Quoted by Sky Sports Pizzi said: ‘We think he’s very happy. He’s giving his best like everyone else. Everybody would like to be at the best clubs in the world, he is already at one, and everyone wants to have him in the squad. He’s very focused and he knows exactly what he has to do. We will see what happens in the future. Right now he feels very comfortable and he’s committed to the national team.’

Meanwhile, Chile teammate Marcelo Diaz actually believes this speculation is bringing the best out of Alexis.

Diaz said: ‘He will be able to keep developing during this summer and I think that his personal situation will help him grow.’

Despite the reported interest from Manchester City – a swap deal for Sergio Aguero would represent a great deal in my eyes – and Bayern Munich no ‘former offer’ has been made for Alexis, according to Sky Sports.
