Manager Arsene Wenger has been giving more thoughts following victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup Final this weekend.

Meeting the Premier League Champions in the showpiece final at Wembley Stadium, Arsenal took a two one victory with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey on the day to lift a record 13th FA Cup.

Speaking to the Official Site as the dust settles on a high end to the campaign, Wenger explained.

‘It`s absolutely fantastic. I`ve won a few doubles and I know what it`s like once a team is on a high. It`s the intensity of the emotions. You go out there today, where can you get that? It`s a special day for a football club and the cup is hugely popular in every single country. It`s just the explosion of the passion of people.’

With Chelsea drawing level with Diego Costa’s effort late on in the second half, Wenger admitted he was worried at that stage but seeing Arsenal hit back so quickly through Ramsey was a delight.

‘When Chelsea equalised, I thought, ‘Here we go, that will give them a mental boost’. We thought they could take advantage of it, but we responded straight away. I was worried at that stage.’

Many will think his ending words have an indication on what decision will be made about his future this week, for others they may just see it as an indication that even if he moves on from the Emirates he’ll be looking for at least one more job in the game before retiring.

‘I`m not a young man. I`m a very young man but I don`t look very young! That`s the basic difference. I love my job and I love to win. I love to build, I love to get people going and I love what I do. I invite you to live with me one day and one thing you cannot question is my commitment.’
