It’s back to the Emirates Stadium this weekend following Arsenal’s tour of Australia and China for the Emirates Cup.

The Gunners will face Benfica on Saturday before a meeting with Sevilla on Sunday, RB Leipzig make up the quartet involved in the competition.

Arsene Wenger has told the Official Website he’s excited by the return of the competition and how it can be played in a relaxed way with it a chance to give the youngsters coming through a chance.

‘I am excited because I find it is always a good way to greet your fans ahead of the new season in a relaxed atmosphere. [There is] less pressure and everyone can enjoy it and look at the young players coming up and the new players coming in.’

Having taken a break from the competition last year, due to the fact organising it wasn’t possible, the boss is delighted to welcome the Emirates Cup back as he ‘missed it’ last summer.

Wenger added: ‘It is a great two days, I missed it last year – I am very happy to have it back again as I was very sad we couldn`t organise it last year.’

The scheduling is as follows.

Saturday 29th July 2017
RB Leipzig v Sevilla FC (2pm)
Arsenal v SL Benfica (4:20pm)

Sunday 30th July 2017
