Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Robin Van Persie’s form won’t make contract negotiations any more difficult.
The Dutch striker has scored 9 goals in his last 5 appearances for the Gunners, a run of form which has taken his 2011 total to 33 goals in all competitions at club level.
The North London side can secure their place in the Champions League knockout stage with a win over Marseille, and will be looking to extend their recent run where they’ve won 8 of their last 9 matches in all competitions.
