Wenger – Our Midfield Is Solid

It`s plain to see that as a club we are desperate for summer signings, we only have one fit striker whilst BFG is getting old and Gabriel scares the living crap out of me every time he plays.

However one area of the field where we look really REALLY strong is in midfield. With Coquelin, Elneny, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Ozil we have, in my opinion, the strongest midfield in the Premiership (despite losing Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky).

Nevertheless Arsene Wenger still spent £35M on Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka and in all fairness from what I`ve seen and read it could be money well spent. With passing statistics to rival anyone and an overt leadership quality we`ve been lacking Xhaka could give us that little bit extra to dominate the centre of the park.

Arsene Wenger says there`s plenty to come from Granit and that our midfield is “solid” (which I can not disagree with).
