Arsene Wenger has killed off what was left of the ‘Hleb Leaving’ rumour.

Press reports had suggested that Hleb was unhappy at Arsenal and a move to Hamburg would go through in the summer.

Hleb himself rubbished the rumours yesterday, and Wenger today, killed them off completly.

?It is quite clear,? said the manager. ?He had a dinner with Michael Schroeder, who is the chief scout at Hamburg, because he was in London. Alex?s brother plays in Hamburg and he knows Schroeder very well.

?There are three parties interested in a transfer – the player and the two clubs.

?After the story, Arsenal came out saying ‘we do not want to sell Hleb’. Hleb came out saying he does not want to go and Hamburg came out saying they are not interested in Hleb.

?What else can I say? End of story.?
