Arsenal have reacted well, to say the least, to the Liverpool defeat as we’re unbeaten in 11-matches since with the six-nil win over Ludogorets on Wednesday making it seven wins in a row.

Confidence plays a big part in football with Arsene Wenger telling BT Sport how high that is but is also keen on focus being maintained.

‘Our confidence is stronger with every win but we have to keep the vigilance as well, and the urgency to bring that into the next game.’

Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and a hat-trick from Mesut Ozil, his first not only for Arsenal but in football, leaving us in a strong position to progress into the last 16 of the Champions League.

Winning the group is something we’ve struggled to do in recent years, seeing off Paris Saint Germain could make a difference?

Feet need to be kept on the ground though, which is what he called for.

‘Let’s not be too quick on the verdict. We have a strong squad and a strong spirit, but you have to take care of it and keep your feet on the ground. The only way to win something big is to focus on the next one and work on humility.’
