Arsene Wenger says that he is worried about the North London outfit’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Arsenal’s away form has been nothing short of pathetic this season, losing nine away games up to press. The likelyhood of Arsenal of entering our new stadium without Champion’s League football is looking more and more likely with each passing week, hell, the nightmare situation of having no European football what-so-ever next year is not a million miles away.

Arsene Wenger has now voiced the fears of almost every single Gooner the world over by saying it’s going to be very difficult to qualify.

It has been widely tipped that Arsenal’s only realistic route to the Champion’s League next season is by winning the thing this year, but Arsene quite rightly tells, that we are a long way from achieving that.

”We are still only in the last 16 so it’s too early to say winning the Champions League could be our best chance of getting back there again next season,”

”I feel at the moment we have to focus on The Premiership and it would be criminal to give up on that.

”We are close to getting results away from home but we are lacking that little bit at the moment that we have to find between now and the end of the season.

”Nights like Tuesday against Real Madrid should remind the players what they are playing for.

”Long-term, if they want to get back in there, we have to take care of results in The Premiership, but at the moment that is the big worry.”

The prospect of facing 12 long and painful months with the taunts from up the road, has the very real posibility of becoming a reality.
