Wenger Is £2500 Poorer

Le Boss has been hit in the pocket once again after the FA fined him £2500 and warned him against his future conduct.

Wenger was fined after an altercation with the match official in the clash vs Pompy at Ashburton Grove last December.

An FA statement read: At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was fined £2,500 and warned as to his future conduct.

Wenger had admitted a charge of improper conduct in relation to his words and behaviour towards the match officials at half-time of Arsenal’s match against Portsmouth on 16 December 2006.

Wenger had suggested that the FA just take his bank details so that they could just take the fines out on direct debit.

No doubt he’ll be hauled in front of them for that too.
