With the January transfer window opening tomorrow speculation is rife with what Arsene Wenger might, or might not do, in order to try and bring the title to The Grove for the first time in ten years and the Arsenal manager has taken the unusual step of saying he will be very busy.

Around this time of year we usually get the same old sound bites that “we will only add if it`s super quality” (which in all honest should be what we`re aiming for all of the time) however given that we have suffered a multitude of injuries this season the French manager is looking to cover all of his bases.

He said on Arsenal.com

‘I’ll be busy, that’s for sure, I am already busy and I said already one month ago we are a bit short to deal with all the competitions we face, especially in midfield. We will be busy, yes.’

Good to hear.

There were also reports earlier in the week that we was trying to bring in Basel`s Mohamed Elneny, rumours that appear to be true after Wenger said ‘Unfortunately we cannot announce anything at the moment about this player [Elneny] because nothing has been concluded”.
