Wenger Hopes Internationals Don’t Disrupt Form

Arsene Wenger has said that he hopes the current international break doesn’t impact on the momentum that Arsenal have built up over the last few weeks.

Speaking to arsenal.com Arsene admitted his concern given we have 16 players away on international duty and not only could the break affect our form, but there are the obvious worries about picking up knocks and injuries.

‘It is certainly not a joy for me but hopefully it’s not a pain. It could be a pain if we lose players through injury. I don’t believe it will upset our rhythm, but it’s always a challenge to get the focus back quickly but let’s hope we can sort that out.’
