Following his outburst in the game against Burnley the other week, manager Arsene Wenger’s Football Association hearing was earlier this evening.

With Wenger holding his hands up to holding his hands up to the fourth official and giving him a little shove, Wenger had indicated he would accept the charge as levied and then just see what happened in his personal hearing.

The outcome of that hearing tonight is that Wenger will now serve a four game touchline ban following the episode.

The misconduct charge and suspension will begin immediately and Arsenal have already confirmed it will not be appealed.

Wenger was also fined £25,000.

He will miss Southampton, Watford, Chelsea and Hull City unless Arsenal require an FA Cup replay, in which case he will return for Hull with the replay taking its place.
