Manager Arsene Wenger has already ruled out Laurent Koscielny from the FA Cup Final against Chelsea later this month but Gabriel is also a doubt.

Following the weekend’s three one victory over Everton on the final day of the campaign, Arsenal did miss out on Champions League football but having gone down to ten men when Koscielny was shown a straight red card, that suspension obviously rules him out of the final, but Wenger also has concerns that Gabriel won’t make it following his injury that forced his substitution in the 53rd minute of the game.

Speaking to the Official Site in his post game press conference, Wenger said firstly of the red card.

‘It looked spectacular but when you watch it again, it looked a bit harsh. What could we do?’

Having ruled Koscielny out of the final, presumably that means Arsenal won’t be appealing the straight red card.

As for Gabriel though, more will be known later today as he was set for a scan yesterday but Wenger admitted it wasn’t looking good.

‘Gabriel overstretched his knee and will have a scan tomorrow. We`ll see the damage. It doesn`t look too good for next Saturday, to be honest.’
