Theo Walcott has said it doesn’t matter how Arsenal get results in the Champions League as long as we ensure qualification and if that means winning ugly to get the points, so be it.

Speaking to arsenal.com Walcott said that in the group stages the performances didn’t matter, it was just the result that counted.

‘I think it’s the same in any competition, it doesn’t matter how you win the game so long as you get a positive result. Nobody remembers the dirty 1-0’s and 0-0’s, it’s all about the finalists. That’s all we can think about.’

Walcott says Arsenal still have some work to do in order to finish top of the group, but everybody is looking to the next game and enjoying it.

‘Obviously we want to finish on top, but now we will be focusing on the weekend. That is what we do at this club, we focus on the next game. They come round thick and fast, bring on the games, we enjoy playing our football.’
