Theo Walcott has a couple of New Year’s resolutions that I’m sure all Arsenal fans will hope he can achieve.

Simply put he wants to score more goals, and he wants to get some silverware.

Speaking to arsenal.com Walcott said that whilst he was happy to have created so many for RVP this season, he wants to seriously improve his own tally (currently 4) before the end of the campaign.

‘This season I need to get in among the goals a bit more but I’m happy if the team’s winning and I’m getting assists.’

His other, is to simply get some silverware into the club again.

‘I think we’ve had so much experience of almost getting there and we just want a bit more. We obviously want to win the league, we want to win every competition we enter. It’s been a long time since we won something.’

With three potential prizes up for grabs, whilst the league might be too much, it is in the player’s hands.
