Walcott Named In Squad

Record breaking teenager, Theo Walcott, has been named in the Arsenal squad to face Real Madrid in Spain tomorrow.

Walcott could face a baptism of fire, and make his debut in one of Arsenal’s biggest ever Champion’s League ties in the clubs history after being named and travelling with the rest of the team.

The transfer of Theo Walcott to Arsenal from Southampton smashed the world record for a transfer fee for a 16 year old.

Walcott has twice appeared for the reserves, scoring in his first game, but has not yet made his full debut. This could come tomorrow as Arsenal face Los Galactico’s in the knockout phase first leg in Madrid.

The England under 19’s international could be something of a secret weapon against the Spanish giants as he will be little known over there, but his blistering pace could cause a few suprises.
