The Premier League season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

West Ham kicked off the weekend with a surprising win over champions Chelsea at the London Stadium in the lunchtime game – victory eased the Hammers’ relegation worries for a while but led to Blues boss Antonio Conte conceding the title to Manchester City.

An added time penalty miss meant Crystal Palace failed to take the chance to win a five goal thriller against Bournemouth at Selhurst Park. This draw saw Palace drop to the bottom of the Premier League again, below Swansea after they beat fellow strugglers West Brom.

Tottenham crushed Stoke, scoring five in a demolition at Wembley – five goals were also witnessed at St James’ Park as Leicester edged a thriller to beat host Newcastle in Saturday’s evening kick off.

Sunday saw a couple of derbies, but kicking things off was the game on the south coast as Southampton and Arsenal played out a one-all draw – the same happened at Anfield as Liverpool and Everton shared the points.

A Premier League title decider? Well, perhaps this is a bit premature when we’re not even at the mid-December point, but Manchester City’s seemingly relentless march to the title continued. A win at Old Trafford puts City 11 points ahead of nearest rivals – literally – Manchester United and now 14 clear of Chelsea, third.

Here’s a round-up of the Premier League results.
