The Premier League season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Saturday’s lunchtime kick off saw second place Manchester United reacted positively to a defeat – when beaten at Huddersfield, who lost at Liverpool this time – with a win over Tottenham to extend the gap on the chasing pack.

Leaders Manchester City responded with a win at West Brom to maintain their five point advantage. Meanwhile, Arsenal moved above London rivals Spurs into third when coming from behind to beat Swansea.

Thanks to a late leveller Crystal Palace rescued a point against fellow strugglers West Ham, the Eagles remain at the foot of the Premier League though.

In Saturday’s evening kick off champions Chelsea did enough to see off Bournemouth, going away from Dean Court with a 1-0 win.
