The Europa League season continued with the latest round of games played in midweek.

Premier League interest in this competition will continue into the knockout phases next year, but only one of the two clubs will advance.

Everton’s 3-0 defeat in Lyon means the Toffees’ interest is over with a couple of games to spare, the managerless side can’t now advance having failed to win in the opening four games, suffering three defeats.

However, Arsenal confirmed their place in the next round, also with two games remaining, when the Gunners, albeit somewhat disappointingly, collected a point at the Emirates Stadium.

Here’s a round-up of the Europa League results.
