It is very nearly the end of the road – albeit with group games remaining in this competition – for some clubs in the Europa League.

Almost certain elimination, which looks a likely scenario anyway after a poor start to the European campaign – forgetting the Premier League worries – would be confirmed should Everton fail to win in France against a Lyon side who won the most recent encounter at Goodison Park with games to spare.

Arsenal on the other hand very nearly have both feet in the hat for the knockout stages, anything against Crvena Zvezda at the Emirates Stadium and it’ll be a case of job done for the Gunners.
