With continuing speculation about interest in Hector Bellerin from Manchester City and more notably, Barcelona, it was being reported this weekend that he, as well as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were set to receive new deals from Arsenal.

The 21 year old Spanish international does have three years remaining on his existing deal, but The Mirror suggest Arsenal will be sitting down with his representatives over the international break – having already sounded them out – so that full talks can hopefully be brought to a quick resolution following the international window.

A new deal for him would obviously include a significant improvement in the terms owing to his own improvement over the past few seasons.

With Ozil and Sanchez seeing their deals expire in 2018, they also report that the club are in talks with both over an extension and it’s hoped they will be concluded shortly.

There have already been reports that Ozil has agreed the new deal, but there has been no official announcement yet.
