Tottenham Who?

Yesterday Cesc Fabregas said he ‘enjoyed the feeling’ of playing against Spurs, today he says he isn’t even thinking about them anymore.

The young Spainard had Zokora and Tom ‘the hulk’ Huddlestone nicely buttoned up in his top pocket in the carling cup semi at WHL on Wednesday. But in true studish style he now has his sights set on his next conquest – Bolton.

“It is not important to talk about the Tottenham game until Monday,” he said. “Sunday is a big game and we only want to think about Bolton now.

“I think 2-2 was a good result at White Hart Lane and if we draw 0-0 or 1-1 at home it is good.

The maestro did tell us all what we already knew – that Arsenal will go for the throat next week: ‘But we are not going for that. We want to win the game. We are Arsenal, a big club, and always have to think about winning the game.

“But we want to go to the Semi-Final of the FA Cup as well. We want to win things and you have to go step-by-step.

“The FA Cup is famous. I was lucky enough to win it two years ago and we want to win it again.

‘I feel we are capable of doing it if we keep showing this spirit and commitment in the team.

“Bolton are a good team and will be dangerous,” Fabregas went on. “It is different playing them at home compared to away.

‘But you have to go in with the same commitment and quality. If we can do what we have done in the last week then we can beat them.’
