Torres Wants Reyes Link Up

As the Jose Antonio Reyes saga rolls on and on and on, Athletico Madrid superstar Fernando Torres has urged the AM board to seal the deal for the Arsenal forward.

Reyes has made it clear he wants a move back to Spain, god has he made it clear, but now it has become apparent that he would be well accepted back in his home land.

Earlier this week Reyes made it known that if Real Madrid, Seville or Athletico Madrid came a knocking then he’d be willing, no, he’d love to move to either of those clubs.

Torres is arguably Athletico’s best and most influential player and he wants to link up with Reyes and form at club level the fantastic partnership they have for Spain.

‘Hopefully (Reyes will join us). He would bring us a great jump in quality and in addition I have spoken with him and I know that his desire is to come here.’

This is another ugly little saga that I will be extremely glad when it’s over.
