The Football Association have banned Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger from the touchline for three games following is recent spat over referees.

Following Wenger’s behaviour in the referee’s changing room following the game against West Bromwich Albion and the subsequent charge he received, Wenger admitted ‘his language and behaviour was abusive, improper and questioned the integrity of the match referee’.

He has been handed a £40,000 fine and his three match touchline ban begins this weekend in the FA Cup third round clash against Nottingham Forest and will then apply to matches against Chelsea and Bournemouth.

In an unrelated case, the FA have also asked him to respond and explain his comments he made about referees prior to and after Wednesday’s clash with Chelsea.

I doubt we’ve heard the last of this!
