Not for the first time this season Arsenal missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the league, after fluffing their lines at Anfield.

The Gunners came from behind twice to eventually lead the game courtesy of a really well taken goal from Giroud after Aaron Ramsey and Olivier himself had twice drawn Arsenal level following strikes from Liverpool`s Firmino.

However Arsenal failed to hold on to the 3 points as they once again conceded a last minute goal to Liverpool to drop more points. I would be interested to know how many times we`ve let in a goal in the final minute against Liverpool, it`s like we`re having to make payment for that goal in 1989 (which to be fair is worth it!!).

Despite the score-line suggesting a classic Premier League match, and the excitement of a live game, truth be told the quality of the game was so bad it bordered on shambolic.

Both teams made very basic defensive mistakes, the passing was shocking, I`ve watched pub games that have displayed more technical ability.

The level of football was so bad, it provided 6 goals, and made it look like a classic.

Though if you`re a glass half full kind of guy or gal, other results from midweek mean it wasn`t too disastrous, in fact only Leicester made any head way after Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea (not that they matter) and Man Utd drew, whilst Spurs were beaten by the Foxes.

Time will tell whether it was a good point or not, but this morning it feels closer to being a defeat than it does a victory.
