The mischievous Mirror have proved just what a set of **** bags they really are.

Some may accuse we Gooners of being a touch paranoid when it comes to the stories printed by our nations press, but when you read junk such as the Theo Walcott story printed by the Daily Mirror this morning, it’s not difficult to see why.

At the end of the season Arsene Wenger was praising the progression of young Theo stating that the English forward can now fight for a starting birth.

The Arsenal gaffer said, ‘I think he started [the season] as a promising young player and he finished it as a guy who can fight for a regular place in the side,’

‘The next step for him is to be a player who can produce regular performances and efficiency. I am very hopeful he can be that.’

‘Sometimes he can be too much ‘in and out’ of the game still but we have seen when he is in, he is completely in now.’

Somehow, from Mr Wenger’s quotes, the Daily Mirror managed to fashion a story titled ‘Theo Walcott still not ready, says Arsene Wenger’.

They red top scum bags deliberately left out the beginning and the end of Wenger’s statement with the sole intention of causing trouble.

The media in this country are constantly piling pressure on the national football team, often placing the weight of the country on the shoulders of their youngest players, but if they want these players to turn into the national heroes they want them to be, then they should think on before shit stirring and trying to spoil the relationship between player and manager.
