The Beast Wants More Action

Julio Baptista has expressed a desire to play more football for Arsenal.

The Beast has not featured much since his move from Real Madrid, and it appears he has a huge desire to suceed at the Gunners.

What some sources are claiming is Baptista expressing his unhappiness at the club, I suggest is The Beast’s winning spirit and ambition coming through.

‘I’m fit, I want to play and I didn’t sign for Arsenal to sit on the bench,’ said Baptista

‘I know that I can play very well and help the team improve their results – but I haven’t been given a chance. All I want to do is help my team and to do that I need to be a first-choice starter. Of course I want to play against Porto.’

‘It was great to score against Hamburg but that is only a taste. I want more of the action and then I can show what I can do.

‘I was happy with my performances for Real Madrid and for Seville and I am confident that I can do the same for Arsenal.’

I would be very disapointed if any Arsenal player were happy sitting on the bench. This is a healthy reaction, lets hope Julio will put in the effort in training to accompany his fighting talk.
