Chelsea skipper John Terry will miss Sunday`s Carling Cup final after suffering damage to an ankle ligament in Chelsea`s 1-1 draw with Porto on Wednesday (snigger).

Terry has only recently returned after having keyhole surgery on his back but the centre-half lasted only 11 minutes against Porto in the Champions League.

He joins Boulahrouz, Robben, Joe Cole and Judas Cole on the injury list for Sunday`s game. No doubt that should Arsenal win on Sunday, despite having half a dozen kids on the pitch, Chelsea fans and Mourniho will play the injury card.

Let`s not get ahead of ourselves though Gooners.

Speaking after Chelsea`s match Maureen had this to say: ‘We are not in an easy situation. I do not know when John Terry will be back, but I am cool about it.

‘It is unbelievable because of the injuries we keep getting. We don’t have Khalid Boulahrouz and we don’t have John Terry. We have one central defender – Ricardo Carvalho.”

Well that`s what you get for letting Billy Gallas and Robert Huth go in the summer and not replacing them.

As a great man once said “I pity the fool”.
