The gint thorn in Tottenham’s side that is Manu Adebayor says that Arsenal are taking things one game at a time, rather than thinking about winning titles.

Arsenal had been written off by rival fans and pundits alike after the departure of Thierry Henry to Barcelona.

But Arsenal have quickly shown these so called ‘experts’ that one man really doesn’t make a team. The Gunners have been playing well this season, and winning games that last season they would not have.

Despite the team clearly not playing to their full potential, 4 wins and 1 draw in 5 games has seen Arsenal rise to the top of the Premiership.

Despite all this, Adebayor insists that the team are taking each game as it comes: ‘We are very happy and we are very confident at the moment, but it is now about keeping it going,’ Adebayor said to Arsenal.com.

‘Every game we play they call it a test. We feel that as well, but the most important thing is taking it one game at a time.

‘We are showing maturity now, every player knows how to play for 90 minutes. But we don’t want to speak about the title, we just want to keep on going.

‘We are learning and we are playing good football. If we carry on like that we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.’

Adebayor might not have his eyes on the title, but I’m sure I’m not the only Gooner thinking about it, am I?
