Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is closing in on his transfer to Juventus.
Szczesny, who obviously didn’t travel with the Gunners for the pre-season tour of Australia and China, the clearest indication so far he was indeed set to leave this summer, has arrived in Turin for his medical.

Sky Sports report Juventus, who have seen Szczesny first hand during the past two seasons due to his loan at Roma, have agreed terms on a four year contract with Arsenal to receive £14m for the keeper.
His Arsenal contract runs until 2018 but the chances are this final year would be spent playing back up to Petr Cech, adding few appearances to his 181 for the Gunners.
A first season in Turin is likely to see Szczesny, 27, limited in his football at Juventus too as Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon stands in his way. But the 39 year old is set to retire next summer.
