For much of Arsene Wenger`s reign Arsenal have been praised from all (most) corners for their attractive football, even when we were playing badly at least the games had some entertainment value.

So what happens when the entertainment dries up?

The Gunners played out an exceedingly dull 0-0 draw with Sunderland yesterday in a game that should have been a vital match for a title challenge but instead turned out to be another boring game as we try to hold on to 4th place. Again.

Jamie Redknapp of all people labelled the Gunners “boring” too as another season passes us by and we look to secure CL football for another year (in which we`ll go out in the last 16 to either Bayern Munich or Barcelona), and I hate to agree with the tight-trousered buffoon, but he`s right.

I`ve been watching Arsenal for nearly 30 years and I can safely say I`ve never been as bored as I am right now. Even in the good old days of “boring boring Arsenal” there was still fun to be had. The monotony of this decade old saga has worn me down. It is literally the same every year.

Same beginning, same middle and same ending.

Same excuses and sound bites from Arsene Wenger. Same injuries. Same bottlers. It`s just the same and it`s boring the crap out of me.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Will I stop watching Arsenal? No, because I love my club, but if someone could please just wake me up when Arsene Wenger has gone I`d appreciate it.
