News from the Switzerland camp is the Phileppe Senderos will be out for six weeks providing there are no complications.

As reported by Vital Arsenal, Senderos suffered a dislocation of the shoulder and some ligament damage. The team doctor thought surgery maybe essential but that now doesn’t seem to be the case.

Switzerland team doctor Roland Grossen said,

‘We have had to immobilise his injury for two weeks and tomorrow we will take him for an MRI scan to see if there are any additional problems.

‘At the moment surgery is not necessary and that is something we have discussed fully with the Arsenal doctors.

‘He should be able to play again in five or six weeks if there are no additional problems.’

With Arsenal’s growing injury list, we all wish Senderos a speedy and complication free recovery.
